A paid to surf program generally places a view bar at the bottom of your screen(click here to see a view bar) in which they put a banner ad and they measure the time that
you are spending surfing the web. Many sites similar to my site that you are reading now will give you 20+ programs to choose from and will tell you
that every single one of them is the best thing since sliced bread, I will not. I know of nobody who can stand having more than two (three at the very most) programs active at the same time. A view bar will take an inch out of your workspace on the screen and many view this as
intrusive and awkward. On the plus side, a view bar has many useful and worthwhile benefits including a search engine and links to news and finance sites for example. You will soon begin to value the view bar however
too many will become a bind despite the payment that you receive for having them. You would also be wise to stick to the older reputable companies
that have built up their reputations, the whole idea after all is that you want to be paid to have their view bar and so the newer companies are a greater risk not to mention that their view bar software is often riddled with bugs and incompatible with Windows 2000 (as I am now finding). |
