Question: When You Load Your Browser, Does Bill Gates Pay You to Visit the MSN search engine???

Anybody that has not heard politicians or businesses speak about the importance of the internet for the future will probably have been living in a cave for the last year or two. Internet surfers are very valuable to business and that includes you!

Please do not just skate over this, think about it for a moment because my question about whether Bill Gates pays you to visit his site is a serious one. When one installs Windows, it automatically installs the Microsoft browser and sets your start page to the Microsoft Network search engine. If you are a member of AOL then installing their software will change your home page to their page. Whenever you change your ISP, their software automatically changes your browser start page to their page. They have not asked your permission, it is something that is done automatically. So what is the reason for them doing so? Its simple, the more people that regularly visit their page, the more advertising revenue that they get!

Yes, advertising revenue. The one thing that companies such as AOL and Microsoft do not tell you is that Your presence on the internet is valuable to them, that they will not give you any share in the gold mine that you represent, and that here are companies that will!
